Ahoy Invasive Plant Paddle enthusiasts!
This Tuesday, June 21st, 10 am at the Fairview Grange, Lake Stewards of Maine is hosting one of their Invasive Plant Paddle workshops for Belgrade Lakes folks!
The day will be split up into three sections so please feel free to join us for one part or all three!
Part 1. 10-11 am, Lake Stewards of Maine will teach us about aquatic plant identification using a combination of lecture slides and live samples
Part 2. 11-12 pm, Join Lake Stewards on the water and put those new plant ID skills to the test! Psssstttt, keep your eyes peeled for Curly-Leaf Pondweed while we are out there.
12-1 pm, Lunch from D&L
Part 3. 1 pm – 3 pm, Join 7 Lakes and North Pond Association in surveying ALL of North Pond for Curly-Leaf Pondweed!!
